Where I've built and led

  1. 01

    Lead Developer

    Swappsi Software

    Apr 2024 — May 2026

Became the de facto technical lead for CircularAI, an AI-powered platform helping cities turn circular-economy strategies into structured missions and projects, while also delivering client integration work such as QCS's Content AI integration.

    • Acted as de facto technical lead — architecture decisions, hands-on backend implementation, and technical mentoring
    • Designed and built "Cai", a shared AI-communication service adopted across 25–50 integration points, along with the background-task and real-time (SignalR) patterns it depends on
    • Owned core platform capabilities including Missions, Projects, Procurement, authentication, and Elasticsearch search
    • Led a separate 3–4 month integration between QCS's legacy policy system and an externally built AI platform
  2. 02

    IT Consultant & Coach

    Consid AB

    Sep 2022 — May 2024

Consulted for two major clients — CellaVision and Trygg-Hansa — leading a junior team, and later replacing a two-year UI test-framework effort with a purpose-built alternative in two weeks.

    • Led a team of junior developers at CellaVision: code reviews, mentoring, and hands-on technical guidance
    • Worked on .NET/WPF applications with a senior team, focused on maintainability and clean architecture
    • Built claims-management modules for Trygg-Hansa used directly by insurance claims handlers
    • Replaced a two-year, five-developer WPF UI test-framework effort with a self-hosted alternative built in ~2 weeks
  3. 03

    Tech Lead & Coach

    Unity a Vision AB

    Apr 2022 — May 2022

Coached junior developers and contributed to system design at a software-services and mentoring company built around Unity 3D.

    • Coached junior developers as the primary focus of the engagement
    • Contributed to system design for Unity 3D–based projects
  4. 04

    Tech Lead at Haki

    Omegapoint

    Nov 2021 — Mar 2022

Bootstrapped a new Unity 3D project from scratch, including its architecture and core infrastructure.

    • Designed the architectural framework for a new Unity 3D project
    • Implemented Dependency Injection, which is not a standard Unity capability
    • Orchestrated tasks for junior developers on the team
  5. 05

    Backend Developer

    Additude AB

    Apr 2021 — Oct 2021

First contracting role, focused on API development and simulated environments.

    • Built RESTful APIs and simulated environments for client assignments
    • Used reflection-based tooling to reduce boilerplate
  6. 06

    Backend Developer → Team Lead

    Aviolinx (now NAVBLUE-Sweden)

    Jul 2017 — Jul 2020

Joined straight out of university on the team building and maintaining Mimer, the rule engine evaluating the legality of actions within Aviolinx's flagship airline-operations product, Raido.

    • Delivered a substantial payroll feature independently as a junior developer, using the existing calculation infrastructure
    • Extended and modified the core rule engine over 3 years as requirements evolved
    • Promoted to Team Lead after one year, coordinating the development team and handling direct customer contact and specifications
  7. 07

    Computer Room Supervisor (Lab Assistant)

    Malmö University

    2015 — 2016

Part-time role while studying Game Development at Malmö University, supporting first-year students in the Data Structures and Algorithms course.

    • Selected as a lab assistant based on course performance
    • Helped students understand assignments, debug code, and work through problems; graded coursework
    • Developed a teaching approach of breaking problems into small pieces and guiding students to their own answers rather than handing over solutions
02About

A little about how I work

I started as the engineer who wanted to understand every layer of the stack, and that instinct hasn't gone away — it's just moved up a level, from code to the systems and teams that produce it.

These days I spend most of my time on architecture decisions, technical mentorship, and the unglamorous work of keeping a growing engineering org coherent: clear ownership, sane interfaces between teams, and enough shared practice that quality doesn't depend on who's on call.

I care about building things that last longer than the person who built them, and about leaving every team I work with a little more capable than I found it.

01

Technical Leadership

Setting technical direction across teams, driving architecture decisions, and owning outcomes end to end.

02

System Architecture

Designing service boundaries and data flows that stay simple to reason about as scale and headcount grow.

03

Distributed Systems

Event-driven pipelines, consistency trade-offs, and operating systems reliably under real production load.

04

Backend Engineering

Deep, hands-on experience across service design, data modeling, and performance-critical code paths.

05

Product Engineering

Translating ambiguous product problems into shipped software without losing sight of the underlying user need.

06

Mentoring

Growing engineers into senior and lead roles through design-review pairing and deliberate, structured feedback.

07

Engineering Practices

Testing strategy, review culture, and delivery pipelines that make quality the default, not an afterthought.

08

Hiring & Team Building

Running a hiring bar that holds under pressure, and building teams that stay effective as they grow.
